The History of TYTAX®

I recently saw the film JOBS, which is about the corporate innovator Steve Jobs. I was watching and thinking as if it were a scene from my own life. Many of us, those who took things in hand and began to build something from the ground up, are probably thinking the same thing. Of all, we all know how small our businesses are in comparison to Steve Jobs'. Stanley Szultka is my name. I was born in 1958 in Brusy, Poland, in the heart of Europe. I am nameless on the scale of the universe, but to individuals interested in strength training equipment, I am known as the creator of the TYTAX® brand and goods. TYTAX history stretches back to 1988, when I developed my first home gym prototype in my garage, although the route to doing so was not easy. Poland is a rapidly rising country now, but until 1989, when I was 31, Poland was ruled by a communist government that restricted economic operations. I could only hope to realize my "American dream." At the same time, there was a shortage of everything in Poland, particularly luxury items such as strength training and fitness equipment. But, in 1989, for the first time since World War II, we held a democratic election. As a result, a non-communistic government was established, as well as the individual's ability to own a business. Back then, I worked in educational administration, and transitioning from a government employee to a businessman was difficult. Inflation rose to hyperinflationary proportions, and unemployment was extremely high. But that didn't stop me from thinking about my own company. My decision became obvious because I have always participated in athletics since I was a child. Tennis was my favorite sport. I enjoyed reading athletic and fitness magazines from the United States and Western Europe, which we had to smuggle into Poland due to the iron curtain. My hobbies inspired me to establish my first home gym and, later, the business. The company that began in my garage in 1991 created the prototype that is now known as the TYTAX® S6, and more recently as the newest TYTAX® S7.

However, my garage was insufficient to launch a larger production chain. As a result, I needed to set up a small factory to manufacture my equipment. I didn't have enough money to pay for the service, so my family and I created it ourselves. In the photos below, I am 33 years old and working on a construction project with my father.

We built a newer version of the TYTAX® S6 model between 1992 and 1996, and it is still manufactured today after several revisions. This machine can execute a variety of useful workouts, but it only has one workout station.

To broaden our offering, we began producing multi-stationed machine models in 1996, allowing multiple individuals to train at the same time. We mostly sold them as workout equipment to Polish schools. Over the years, we have outfitted over 2000 schools with this equipment.

Because of the expanded offering of fitness equipment and the rising selling market, a new and larger production factory was built in 1999. That year was a watershed moment for the company's future. I made an important decision while designing the Professional Multi Gym - the machine dedicated to specific clients and their home gyms. The project assumed the use of a gym for professional strength training and fitness workouts. In this manner, it might be aimed towards commercial customers such as tiny fitness studios, personal trainers, police stations, and uniformed services, in short, anywhere there is a restricted space for a full gym. The prototype was completed in 1999. The machine was good at the time, but I wanted to improve it. Despite the fact that it was only available in Poland, my ambition was to reach clients all over the world.

TYTAX® from 1999, in that time it was named CONAN.

At the start of 2016, our offering featured five machine models, which were then sold under the TITAN brand. Nonetheless, our goal to expand into new markets, along with rising sales, necessitated modifications. The name was the most significant change. We changed TITAN to TYTAX, which was a difficult decision because we had thousands of movies filmed under the previous label. Because we were unable to register the TITAN brand in many new countries, we were forced to create a single unique name and design on a global scale. So TYTAX® was born, and it is currently protected by the World Intellectual Property Organization. It would never have come to this if I did not value athletics in my life and never did strength training, or if my wife, children, and grandchildren did not support me in my efforts. The same goes for my patient staff; it is because of them that I am able to realize my dreams.

Tennis and the gym were my main sporting activities before the age of 54. However, for the past few years, my physical pursuits have been limited to my personal home gym, which is housed in the space beneath my office. When I mention a personal home gym, I somehow diminish the significance of this room, because it is the most important location in my firm where I test new machines and exercises. Each workout on www.tytax.com has been thoroughly tested with thousands of repetitions by myself, on each machine model. See how I'm conducting my testing below.

I truly believe that TYTAX® machines made in Poland will transform people's lives around the world, bringing them to a new level of fun and advantages from physical activity. I'm also pleased that now, several years after I built my first machine in my garage, TYTAX Factory is a respected maker of fitness equipment, particularly for home gyms.
